official_style Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 they get whiter as you rev the bike up, thats not the greatest pic... Quote
Snopczynski Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 You should just save your money and buy something worth a shit, your wasting your time on trying to buy these super white halogen bulbs. If your really a serious night rider, then you need to get a better lighting setup. Quote
banshee#14 Posted September 15, 2010 Author Report Posted September 15, 2010 (edited) No that's not really what I wanted, you can still see the yellow tone in them, but thanks anyways. And snopczynski I'm not doing it to get a better view at night I dont ride much at night I'm just doing it for the looks i just dont like that 3000k yellow. Wait official_style are you running the black back bulb or the regular one? Also what temp is the one your running? They have a 5000k one.. Edited September 15, 2010 by banshee#14 Quote

They appear yellow because the bike is at idle. 5000k will not be a BLUE light, but will be almost pure white light. For 8 bucks a piece, it might be worth a shot just to see if they are the color you're after, since you're only looking to change the color temp, not increase lighting. Quote
banshee#14 Posted September 15, 2010 Author Report Posted September 15, 2010 Dude if you don't have anything positive to contribute in my thread then just stop posting, I'm just looking for some bulbs not a life lesson from some guy on a forum that tells ne how to make good use of my time. Matscesc: yea I might give them a shot, Im wouldn't mind it being white light as long as it gets me away from that yellow tone. Quote

official_style Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 i dont have the black ones, they werent out when i bought my bulbs. i bought the 4700k ones because the 5000k doesnt come in a spot pattern. i run one spot and 1 flood as most people do. trust me they are whiter than the stock ones. i have 4300k hids in my denali and in my mustang and they are pretty comparable to that when the bike is revved up.
