punkass1323 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 well when i would pull my clutch in there is tension but nothing would engage so i got a new cable still notta then i bought a clutch kit put it in still nothing so i took some pics and need some help also i marked on the basket where there is some wear i think i might need a new one but not sure help please i wanna ride but damn Quote

toytech Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 does the clutch not release or not enguage? if not enguaging take the springs back off and turn the pressure plate in the basket to a different position it will only fit in the correct spot Quote

bbcmudtruck Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Are you setting your adjustment screw correctly? That center screw with a nut on it is the one I'm talking about. Back that nut off and use a phillips head screwdriver and turn it in a little bit. Pull your clutch in and see it that helps. Before you button everything up, make sure your arrows on the case and the clutch puller line up. If you have a clymers it should have pictures and explain the process step by step. Quote
