Permatex instead of Yamabond4?

Is it alright to use Permatex (grey I was thinking) for the cases? I remember using it when I rebuilt the topend of my Raptor660. Think it's about the same thing.

I use the silicone a few times when I ran out of Three Bond 1211 or 1194. Let the silicone dry for at least 24 hours.

permatex 518 red anarobic sealer, it will not setup until the air is removed(cases being put together).

I got some 3 bond 1194 from the Yamahashop.

Never used yamabond but i've used ultra gray a lot mainly on cars but some quad stuff too. It works great for everything and is usable within an hour.
