midlifecrisis Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 I know Ive been on here since January, asking all sorts of questions, and learning a tonne about my machine, but til yesterday, still hadnt been able to ride it, due to an endless list of problems that kept coming up. Late last week, I finally gave up trying to figure it out for myself, and I sent it in to a local guy who figured it all out for me, and installed all of the parts that I had bought, and hadnt had time to install yet. Yesterday I got it back, and went for a little ride down my street, as I am trying to break it in nicely. After 3-4 heat ups and cool downs, I figured it was good to go, and I gave her shit. HOLY SHIT was right! I only had a shee for 2-3 years when I was a teenager, and I kinda forgot what it was like, but I do remember it being a shitpile of fun, so I couldnt wait to get another, hence my Valentines day purchase. This thing scared the crap out of me, and when I did stop for a drink, I was shaking with excitement like Id just been in a foot chase with the police. Thanks to all the guys who have helped me with advice and sold me good quality parts, this whole experience has made me feel like a kid again! Quote
Larry's Shee Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Your screen name says it all. ANY time I ride a quad or bike I feel young , if it's a long one I feel sore the next day but it's all good. Quote
madjimmax Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 It sure does do that and thats why I keep my shee around. I dont get out on it that often anymore, but when I do I feel the same way. My ole lady keeps telling me that I should sell it and do something else with the money, but I can tell you right now that aint ever happening. When I finally feel like I'm getting to old I'll just pass it down to my son. Quote
