Michael Jackson Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 they say that they are works shocks. I blew my stockers and i'm looking for a set of shocks for cheap and found these let me know what ya think they are works triple rate AT steelers doesnt look like they have any adjustment, hard to tell from the pics, still a huge upgrade, ask the seller what weight etc that they are setup for unless they are blown or need a rebuild, i would grab em if the price is right, they will ride 50 times better than stock so how much? Quote
Judge1 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I have a set on mine and they are much better than stock, very plush and don't bottom out. Even if they need a new charge and oil maybe some seals your talking a $100 .... still very cheap upgrade. Quote
Michael Jackson Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 $50.00 bucks GET THEM NOW!!!!!!! before someone else does sounds like "matt" on here is pretty damn good with suspension and rebuilds a lot of peoples stuff, even if you had to have them rebuilt by him or someone else, they are still a steal at that price! BUY THEM! or someone else on this forum will when they see this! Quote
GrMeyer Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 Yup....Buy them and my vote goes to matt for the rebuilds for ya... He will set you up nice Quote
toytech Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 I have those shocks they are great, and at that price it's like slealin em Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Thanks for the shameless plugs guys. All works shocks have preload adjustment. The only difference between the newer ones, and the older ones, is instead of the body being threaded, it will be grooved with a snap ring to adjust the pre-load. No "on the fly" adjustment, and frankly a pain in the ass to change. Michael Jackson is correct when he says they are not adjustable. There will be no rebound or compression adjustment. But for 50 bucks, even if they do need a rebuild and are totally blown out, that's a steal... Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 On another note. Parts for both shocks will run you about $25ea. Labor is $65ea. PM me if you want more info! Quote
