DJ LiL Mike Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 hello bansheehqers, im not sure if im posting this in the right section, but im lookin for a new set of tires. Ive made my decision to go with Maxxis Razrs all around. i have stock banshee wheels, so my front tire will be 21x7x10. For the rear, i am debating whether to get the 22x11x9, or 20x11x9. I like the higher hight that the 22" will give compaired to my current ITP MXR4 19" tire. i like drifting and crap like that and ive read that the 22" will affect that. anybody here run 22s on 9 inch rim?? 22x11x9 vs. 20x11x9? If you're gonna run 21s in front run 20s out back and if you're set on 22 rears run 22 fronts to match. When you have smaller tires in the front it doesn't handle as good and looks a little silly if you really look at it. Most people run 22 rears for ground clearance in the woods Quote

I run 21x7-10 Dunlop fronts and 20x11-9 ITP holeshot rears in summer time, and 23x7-10 and 22x11-9 Maxxis RazrII´s in winter time. Gearing with those 20´s is stock 14/41 and with those 22"´s 13/42. I like them both. RazrII´s hook better than those ITP´s IMO. If I were you I would go with 21x7-10 fronts and 20x11-9 rears if you don´t need extra ground clearance. -What else you want to know? -Pasi S. Edited July 12, 2010 by Pasi S. Quote
