Rear Brake Lever Hits Direct Drive Lock-Up Cover

Just installed my lock up and the rear brake lever hits the bottom of the cover. Is this normal and do you guys bend it out?

bend it out if you can. i run the roll design pegs so bending it out was not an option. i had to heat mine up and bend it to make it work.

there is a adjuster screw on the bottom of the mastercylinder. turn it in 1-2 turns until it forces the lever down enough to clear it.

best thing i found was to just let it rub, untill you can get a torch on it and bend the pedal up , so you can adjust it down, but still be able to stomp on the brakes hard without over-extending your foot.......even with the nerf spacers, it still wouldn't clear the peg and the cover right and be high enough.......
