Banshee rebuild/ not running right

Hey guys,

 

So i finally got my 87 shee running today i had to spray dri gas into the spark plug holes to get it to start. it did start and run but it had a bog i had to rev it and rev it to finally get it up to rpm, theair box wasnt on and when i shut it off i cudnt get it fired up without the dri gas again, brand new spark plugs on it, fresh rebuild just finishedtoday, could it be carburator adjustment>? i have this whiteadjusting knobs on my carbs but no nothing on tuningthem any help o suggestions would be awsome thanks guys

what's the story on it? new topend rebuild? or, just sat for a along time, or quit one day? white knobs? like plasic knobs on the side if the carbs, or the big dime-sized knobs on top of the carbs, that you have to take the seat off of to get to? pics would be really helpfull, to see what kind of carbs they are. it could be a number of thengs, from airleaks, to choke circuits, to plugged jets/passages, oil separatoin, weak spark, compression, etc

Are carbs clean?

Make sure you have the black tube in place that goes inbetween the carbs.
