Bought procircuit pipes...

Hey guys I just installed a set of pro circuit platinum pipes and silencers on my 04 banshee. It is stock other than that with a k&n filter. I rode it after I installed them and it seems to be snappy as ever. How do I know if I need to rejet?

Do not ride it until you rejet. That is a must!

Never jetted before based on my mods does anyone have any suggestions on what I need? I just rode it probably 500 ft no more. I plan on riding in the sand with it if that makes a difference probably florence

they are close to Toomey T5's, you can go to the Toomey webiste and check your elevation and match your jetting. I think you should be around 280-290

Ok I will take a look. Also, what's the the deal about the snorkel? Is it something i need to remove or not worry about it.

i have pro circuits and im at your elev. i run a 290 main , 27.5 pilot ,stock needle 3rd clip and air screw 1.5 turns out.

Unless your in the mud, I would take that airbox off and sell it or throw it the trash

Thanks for the response I will take your advice and run the 290 main. I am running lean when the bike makes a snap and popping noise correct? What does the third clip mean? Sorry for all the questions but I just unclip that plastic airbox with the snorkel and leave the filter with a cover?

take the cover off too.

 

look at this link. part # 23 is the neede. it has notches on it and the little pacman looking peice is the clip.

Buy a 10 pack of plugs. Put in a new set after you have done everything. Make a pass through all gears, pull the clutch handle and shut off the motor. Pull your plugs and make sure they are a choc milk color and you will be good.

Hey thanks for all the help. Im super stoked to feel this powerband once i get it dialed in and the pcs look awesome on! When I click that link it just takes me to yamaha of troys home page? Also, I have a filter cover not outerwear but some other brand I shouldn't remove that cover but the plastic cover over the filter with the snorkel on the end is garbage right?

the snorkle severly restricts airflow. and jetting gets easier and easier. with a banshee you will be in those damn things so often you will be able to do it blind folded

haha yea no kidding the first month i had my shee all i did was work on it, i can probably get pipes on and be rejetted in like 10 minutes.

Lol thanks. Ya I'm starting to that feeling but it's fun to mess with. If I remove that snorkel should I get a larger jet to adjust for more air? Pipes weren't too bad to install just getting the damn springs off sucked!
