papa-smurf Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Oil Leak thread here is a link for the situation. There are also some pics of the studs that are leaking After exploring under my banshee a little more, I believe my under body of my case on the left side seems to be welded. Can anybody verify if this looks right or what the next action should be? http://s815.photobucket.com/albums/zz79/supermdub/?action=view¤t=013.jpg these are the leaking studs, what are those holes for under the engine? They were full of grime before I emptied it http://s815.photobucket.com/albums/zz79/supermdub/?action=view¤t=015.jpg idk what to think about it, is it supposed to be like that? Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Here you go papa-smurf. The last one looks that either a rock got it or the chain. It's definitely screwed up. Quote

captainhowdie Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Def looks welded and epoxied. If you cant get it to stop leakin, get a new set of cases and bring it over with some beer and ill show you how to tear down and rebuild your bottom end Quote
trickedcarbine Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Well smurf..... to me it looks like some chain whack has occurred. Some one followed it up with epoxy from the looks of it in the pix. Geez i better get a case saver for my new bike! Actually, ur in michigan right? Just hop on ebay and look up komisar motorsports. Call him and go check the stuff he has shelved. Super chill fella with good prices. Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Next time you post pics just click the IMG code on photobucket and paste it into your thread. It's that simple. Quote
jasons Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 i cant tell from those pics what looks to be welded if anything. are you sure its coming from the studs. is up by the sprocket wet. could be the netrul sover leaking. and coming down on the underside. or it could be the shift shaft. looks like a whole peice of metal is missing like a chain came off and broke it off. the nnetrul cover and sprocket is too exposed right there. . papa-smurf Posted June 28, 2010 Author Report Posted June 28, 2010 im from ny. A lot of my underbody of the cases have oil leaking. I didnt know what it was supposed to look like, first banshee. If you would like me to take a pic of a different angle or area I could do that. Im just trying to figure everything out, I thought I had been pretty close to finishing my rebuild then I started putting fluids in and drippage from multiple places. The nuts/studs from the first pic and that area that looks welded. There are two holes under my engine, one you can see in the first pic above the two studs/nuts. What are those for? Quote
