Infamous039 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Do you have to remove the handle bars, everytime you want to take you Fullbore front plastics off??? This is very annoying just to get the plastic off, is there another way thats quicker ????? Quote
donkeypuncher Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 i just slide it on from the front by spreading the plastic apart to fit around the radiator and gas tank. Quote
Infamous039 Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 i will try that, im just scared i might break them or put a stress mark in them ??? Quote
ellison445 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 I do the same thing! i just slide it on from the front by spreading the plastic apart to fit around the radiator and gas tank. Quote
alf44 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Ya dude. they'll slide off. I have to do the same with my Lakers. Quote
Erwin8r Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Ditto. They won't stress or break unless you really tweak on them--it's pretty flexible plastic... Quote
Infamous039 Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 Ok, Thanks guy. I will try it the next time I need to take them off. Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 just pull them apart and around the bar area. they are tough as shit. i nose dived my bike last year at a hillclimb and all it did was put a couple small cracks in the very front. i figured theyd be trashed but they werent. Quote
MarineNYC Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 I used to turn my bars to make the neck of the plastics have a smother ride in. Dont worry about the flex. Mine were painted and they never cracked. Quote
Infamous039 Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 OK, thanks guys. Yo Sean hit me up we need to go riding dude. I used to turn my bars to make the neck of the plastics have a smother ride in. Dont worry about the flex. Mine were painted and they never cracked. Quote
