scav8er Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Ok so i tore into my bottom end for the first time. Put everything back together rode down the street twice and everything ran great now when i kick the kick starter i hear metal to metal clicking or clanking in the bottom end. Any ideas? Quote

Any ideas? not sure if the noise is coming from when you kick it, or when its running, but I do knoiw from personal experience that the kicker bushing , and the crank bolt have given me issues in the past, causing weird symptoms and sounds. scav8er Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Posted June 6, 2010 (edited) Well started to pull everything apart tonight and I found the problem. I took the stator cover off and the flywheel nut fell out! Put it back on with locktight! Started right up and no rattle!
