shakenbake1285 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Right now I have toomey t6 exhaust, uni air filter, and tors removed. I plan on getting trinity 2 into 1 carb. What are some other good mods? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Ditch the 2-1 carb idea, get some 28's or 30's, timing, more comp, Porting and so on. Quote
Canadarider Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 a-arms , shocks, axle , tires list goes on Quote
firebanshee Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 T-6s are not a good mod.imo, they are better than stock, but there are sooooo many other pipes out there that will run circles around them.Plus T-6s are for non ported bikes.T-5s are good pipes, and work great with porting.Just say NO to the 2 into 1.If you want a trail or woods bike then run smaller dual carbs and pro circuits, and bump the timing to +4 and a 21cc dome at sea level for premium fuel and a 19cc for race gas. camatv Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 on a trail/ woods/ wheelie bike i would keep the t-6's.. they are a sweet bottom end pipe and react well to real low end porting ( higher transfer number and velocity.._) i LOVED them on my trail bike. best throttle response EVER!@ Quote
FASTOYS Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 I would recommend all the bolt ons'first like timing plate, cool head, and then some reeds like V force if you can afford them. Then i would opt for porting. Your T6s will work fine for now for a all around pipe with power everywhere. IF you need more top end power then opt for different pipes. Quote
GoBigOrGoHome! Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 I would talk to Kevin at HerrJugsRacing. I had him put a 4mil build on my bike and it flat out rips. If this is not in the budget, he can tell you some cheaper bolt-on parts that give you the most bang for your buck! Quote
