McBanshee Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 I have seen a lot of people powder coat their brake calipers... What is the best way to do it? Should I completely disassemble the caliper or just tape everything off and have powder shot on it? Quote

okbeast Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Make sure they do a pre-heat on it, chances are it's had brake fluid spilled on it before and that stuff is hell on PC or anything really. You'll also have to be hella careful when bleeding your brakes. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I have polished front calipers for sale Then you won't have to mess with powdercoating haha Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 before you have it PCed, you should grind of all the excess material and clean it up. youd be amazed at how much extra stuff there is on the rear caliper... Quote
