AdrenalineJunky Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Someone else will verify but I believe the stock a arm ball joints are not replacable/servicable. Quote

THEY ARE GOOD QUALITY AND SEEM TO LAST. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted April 14, 2010 Author Report Posted April 14, 2010 Ball joints are like new. The boots were ripped however. So I bought 4 new ones. Not sure how to go about replacing the boots though. The clip is a son of a bitch to get over the lip on the arm. Quote

Try lubing up the boot (WD or PB blast) and use a small flathead on one side to hold the clip and another flat head to guide it around the boot and just slide the screwdriver around to lower the clip and get it into place. I always have my buddy give me a hand if I need to do it. So u can ditch the 2nd screwdriver and use 1 to hold and have a friend use their hands to guide the clip. Hope this helps man. Let me know. PM me if u need to, Im not getting emails on posts I subscribe to. 1 screwdriver is just less risk of stabbing the new boots.Glad u like the arms. Quote
cobrabc1993 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 They are a bastard, just use a little patience, and youll get it..... and be careful where you point the screwdriver, so you dont poke a new hole in the new boot...... Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted April 15, 2010 Author Report Posted April 15, 2010 Ended up getting them on... used the buddy method. Thanks guys Quote
