So Cal Suspension Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 I'm looking for a adjustable timming plate no cast junk, and must be in good shape with no damaged threads, thanks Matt Just an FYI, from one Matt to another. There's nothing wrong at all with the cast ones. The billet ones just look pretty... for no reason... Quote
Building my First Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 I f you change your mind I have a like new cast one for $25 shipped. You can hardly see the bling of a billet one with the flywheel mounted anyways. Quote
BigMatt Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 this is by no means a show bike, I just have heard bad things about the cast ones, If I get no bits for billet ones I'll let you know thanks man. Quote
Building my First Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Really? I never noticed any say one broke, the stock ones are cast. Let me know. Quote
BigMatt Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 Really? I never noticed any say one broke, the stock ones are cast. Let me know. not broke but mostly sripped out and bolts constantly backing out, I dont know... just trying to stick to american parts. I'll let you know though. is yours used? because $25.00 for used is alittle high because online there going for that brand new. Quote
Building my First Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 It was used for about two months, still looks new, threads are perfect. The cheapest I seen them for was $35 shipped. I think it was a RM plate so it's Canadian parts. Quote
B-EAZY Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 I have a billet pro design timing plate. $60 shipped Quote
BigMatt Posted April 3, 2010 Author Report Posted April 3, 2010 I have a billet pro design timing plate. $60 shipped Well thats alittle high cause I can get a Chariot Performance timing plate for $45.00 new http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-6061-Billet-Adjustable-Stator-Timing-Plate_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem414e4596aaQQitemZ280486057642QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Quote
shanYE west Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Pro designs cost more money. They retail for 100.00 So his price wasn't really high.. Quote
Koolguyson Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Pro designs cost more money. They retail for 100.00 So his price wasn't really high.. Yup, just because wiseco sells a 4mm crank for 350 doesn't mean I am going to bang the door down at crankworks because they want 700 for one... (And the Chariot is 50 plus 5 to ship on ebay...this guys' is 60 shipped) Hardly worth haggling over IMO. Quote
