Hi, just a question on ignition advance. Is it going to give more on the bottom or top. My motor is just rebuilt, shaved head, v force reeds and 28 pwk carbs with fmf gnarley pipes. I have the adjustable stator plate and would like to know where to start with the timing. thanks

+4 would work good for you. Just watch for signs of detonation when you run it for the first time with the timing advanced.

I know what detonation in my truck sounds like. It's almost a clattering. What sound describes it on a shee? Not being dumb, just want to know for future reference.
