cbn70 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Hi, just a question on ignition advance. Is it going to give more on the bottom or top. My motor is just rebuilt, shaved head, v force reeds and 28 pwk carbs with fmf gnarley pipes. I have the adjustable stator plate and would like to know where to start with the timing. thanks Quote
James-26 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I keep reading that the Banshee loves +4 on the timing advance Quote
wvbansheeboy Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I keep reading that the Banshee loves +4 on the timing advance my banshee loves +4 more then that and youll notice a loss in top end Quote
BigRed350x Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 +4 would work good for you. Just watch for signs of detonation when you run it for the first time with the timing advanced. Quote

I know what detonation in my truck sounds like. It's almost a clattering. What sound describes it on a shee? Not being dumb, just want to know for future reference. Quote
