cobalt Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 My stock tires are spinning to much on grass and dirt so I was looking for some more aggressive dirt tires and found some fairly new spidertracs that we had laying around. my question is do you guys think these are to aggresive for my banshee that it might damage some stuff by creating to much pull or something? My shee is fairly stock have k&n air pods, +4 on timing t5 full exhaust and tors removed. the tires are huge on there and I feel they will hurt it or break my hubs but, I wanted some 3rd party imput. Honestly i don't think they should hurt anything running the mods you have. Depending on how much bigger the tire is it might mess with your take off/acceleration. It might be a bit sluggish from the start. Them tires seem to be for mud not too sure how they do on dirt or grass as you mentioned. I have seen a few people run them with no issues. If your tight on money or have a budget like many of us do you should check out the Honda radial tires available from FAST. I finally tried them out last weekend, i borrowed the pair from a friend and after hearing all the hype from them tires i was surprised on how well they hook. I will be ordering a pair for my shee and my kfx in the summer. They are cheap too. Check out FAST website and take a look. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 They should be fine on your Banshee, depending on what size they are, you may want to regear. My cousin used them in snow and they work awesome, he could go everywhere and pop wheelies and yet they did not dig in and high center him. Quote
cobalt Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Posted March 25, 2010 thanks guys for the imput There offset quite a bit so thats what kinda was worrying but yeah I did ride around with them slowly just testing them and they grabbed really well. got probably 4 inches sticking past my fenders on both sides so they are huge not sure the size exactly but they were on a yamaha warrior I know.
