georgie Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 What's the biggest front spocket size I can run without cutting the case? I'm running a 15t. right now, wondering if a 16t would fit? Thanks. Quote
Banshee dav Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Yuo can run a 17 in the front but thats as big as you can go without cuttingIf you are still runing a stock motor then you need to stay with the 15 front and 40 in the rear. Quote
J-Madd Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Whats' done to your motor that you need a 17t sprocket? Running 1/4 mile? A stock (bolt on modded) motor won't efficiently pull a 16/41 in 6th gear. Quote

Going to try out the 1/4 mile once I get my new swing arm and shocks. Just wondering if 15 is the biggest I can fit in there. Quote

Yeah, like mentioned you can easily get a 17t in there. I have seen what I believe was a 20t before. I think it had to be from a street bike. I think the case had been worked on to get it to fit in there, though. Quote
