NewToBanshees Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 I have a 2000 Banshee that is almost entirely stock. The outside edges of the back fenders are sagging down and just dont look that great. Any ideas on what I could do to get them back up straight? Is this a common issue? Thanks Ryan Quote

(I cant really tell on the site) because its really just the outside corners that are sagging. Thanks for the reply bro Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Yeah, what ban99 posted is what i was thinking about. Quote
ban99 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 The ones on my bike stop about 5" from the outside of the fender. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 The Cascade ones help support the fenders, but I have ran two sets of them and both sets have cracked and broken off from the vibration, not from crash damage. One thing you can do to help with is remove your seat anput something(a block of wood) on the frame where the back of the seat would be and then run a bungee cord over it from one fender to the other one so it is pulling up on the fenders while the bike is in storage. Some guys will say to just cut the back fenders off, but I like having rear fenders. Quote

Ive done that several times. it does help alot but its not a permanit solution. it works best if you take the rear fenders off and set em out side on a warm sunny day with the bungee cord trick. if its hot enough outside, your fenders will flex a little better and hold its shape longer. madjimmax Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I've got an extra set of support brackets if you need em pretty much brand new. $15 shipped Quote
