I had full flights and ASR arms and neither required reaming the spindles..You might have a REALLY old set. I had a problem originally with not having enough thread exposed,I just ran a porting cone through the spindle once to clean up any burrs or paint and everything lined up right.. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 You are probably going to have to get a suspesion parts catolog and search through it by the specs to find some ball joints, by suspension catolog i mean like Moog or TRW. Finding a true ball joint with a 3/4- 16 thread and the right taper for Banshee spindle will be difficult, I know there are some Automotive tie rod ends that will work, but they are not a "ball joint" and don't hold up very well. The other thing is try some of the ATV suspension manufacturers and see if they have any ideas, or cut the threads out of the a arms and weld in new sleeves with metric threads. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 I'm about sure you'll be able to find some ball joints that will work, however if you don't, I'm pretty sure you can use these. You shouldn't have to ream the spindles with these replacement bolts. http://www.fullfligh...od&productId=34 Also try contacting these guys and see what thread and pitch they use for their ball joints. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WICKED-PRODUCTS-A-ARMS-Banshee_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3caa95b213QQitemZ260559974931QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Quote
