We powdercoated his drag pipes for his 760 Raptor and they held up good to the 4-stroke exhaust temps. Quote
00sheerzr Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 i dont mean to thread jack but whats it cost to pc a set of banshee pipes Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Alot of factors are involved there but I would say anywhere from 70-150. Maybe even a little more. I know thats a wide price range, but different coaters in different areas are gonna charge, well, different prices haha. I have not done custom work for awhile now ( I do mostly production work now ) but I have a sign in my shop and it reads: Services Offered: Fast Work-Cheap Work-Quality Work, You can choose two. I would just call local places and see what they say. See what they offer, and see if you can do some of the work yourself to reduce their labor and your price tag. Quote
jasons Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 i just got a quote from our local powder coater and he told me 20 bucks a pipe and that includes removing the old chrome and spraying high temp black powder on them. but they did tell me there is no warranty because of the temps the pipes get and it may bake the powder off. and he told my frame would be 135 for any color. i am also in san diego where they do a lot of quads so i am sure they know what what there doing. just my 2 cents Quote
