lykins89shee Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Fresh rebuild on 89 banshee at 1000ft. Mods are k&n no lid, fmf pipes, cool head 20cc domes , timing plate +4, dune play port, tors removed. Mains are 300 and pilots are 27.5 air mixture 1.5 out. My problem is at quarter throttle it is kind of breaking up and not running smooth, but when you open it up it runs strong. My question is are the mains to big or do i need to try to turn my air mixture out to see if that helps. I know I'm going to have to play with it, but would like to get a good starting point. 340scamp Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Have you tried replacing the muffler bearings or maybe drain the wheel hops or adjust the needle. Thanks Quote
