bansheeguy14
Alright guys I need some help. I have recently pulled the bikes out of the garage to start to get them into condition to use this year. I put them away running in perfect condition and now one of them has absolutely no spark. I have spent about 15 total hours on the bike in the past two days reading forums and the manual. Have tested every connection atleast twice and cleaned all connections. The stator was replaced about a year and a half ago and has only 5 rides on it and the spark plug coil and unit itself was replaced at the same time. I have checked the gap in the pick up coil, which is fine, and have replaced the spark plugs with new ones. I have also checked all grounds. The TORS unit is removed. If anyone can think of anything else to check other than what I already have then please give me a shout, as I am fresh out of ideas. Thanks! Does the flywheel sound like a baby rattle (broken magnets}?.pickup coil itself.

bansheeguy14
Are you posotive the e.s.s. is not connected? Yes there is nothing left on the bike that has to do with that. The bike has ran great and was put away running awesome. Just all of a sudden it has absolutely no spark.

bansheeguy14
referring to the kill switch on the bars or the actual on off key switch? How would I go about checking either or both? Checked already with an ohm meter and checked out fine.
SkinInd_Banshee
not the main keyed switch, if it ohm then its ok. check your stator to ground
bansheeguy14
Would I have to pull the flywheel off to check that or is that the connection in the middle of the bike? I believe that it is the connection that goes to the stator but I could be wrong.

bansheeguy14
Man. I did that numerous times including again today and still shows that there is resistance on the ohm meter to the specified current in the manual. I even took the entire harness out of the frame today and checked any wires for wear and tear and checked the connections once again. Any other steps I can take now?
