do i have to rejet for winter?

ok i'm new to all this and i just bought a 01 Banshee my first one its stock as far as i know besides the DG tips and an K&N airfilter was on there when i got it.. it didnt have any spark and the guy said it wasnt gettin any gass to the head he said it needed to be rejetted. so i bought it and i fooled around with it and got it running without new jets and the spark problem was the cdi. i got it all done she was running good then it started gettin cold out. now i cant do anything with her. shes fooling plugs and hard to start not running right. i dont have a clue what this could be.. i'v read things on here where ppl have rejetted for the winter but they have alot of mods one there bike so it wouldnt be the same as mine...

anyone know what this could be. any help would be grate!

Yes you need to rejet for colder weather. What is your current jetting?

im in the same position. i have toomey t5's and k&n pods. slight port job, and run 300's for weather over 50*...and sometimes i think it could still be jetted more efficiently. its about 25*-40* right now, and i dont ride it, not too sure if it should be jetted again for weather this cold and dont have extra jets.

For colder weather you have to richen it a tad bit depending where your jetted at now. I live in az so i have mine jetted for 75f and up. When i rode it in 50f weather it was running a bit lean so jetting it to a richer jetting should solve your issue.

I was told for every 20-30 degrees colder go one size bigger on gets and tunr the air fuel mixtre out just a bit to if needed. I live in mn and try to take my shee out when it gets above 30 out.

X-2 on cold weather rejetting. Also your oil could be settleing out of your gas mix, shake your 'shee back& forth to mix fuel. Bean oil is not reomended for below 40* F.

run a single 33mm carb,and when its above 50 degrees i run 155 main,40 pilot,air screw out 1 1/2---if it drops below 50 i run a 165 main,42 pilot,and air screw the same
