Black pipes!

What or how do you guys get the pipes coated black? Is it powdercoat or paint? And does it stay looking good for a long time?

mine are ceramic coated. So far its been on there two years.

use BBQ GRILL paint! try that..

 

oh and dont forget black pipes are usually BIGGER than the other colors..

hi temp powder is definitely the way to go, but the VHT flame proof paint you get at O'Reilly's for 9 bucks a can works pretty good for the rattle can approach.

if you use the rattle can stuff OR the bbq grill paint and then bake it in probperly it works very well and touch ups later are much easier..

 

i personally wouldnt waste the time/ money on a powdercoated set. i'd either go "works" and wd40 the suckers ( cool as shit) or do the ole rattle cann job..

I got my PC with high temp flat black..Been on there a year, still looks good.
