dwet6 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I recently discovered a hole in my exhaust pipe on the right side. Before i found this hole my cylinder had not been firing. My buddy nickisgod thinks this could be the reason. The pipe is cold to the touch after running the shee for a good minute. Im not saying your wrong nick but i wanted to get some more opinions. Any ideas??? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 Well cosidering that a two stroke would run with no pipe , I doubt that a little hole would be your problem. You need to dig deeper. Quote
AKheathen Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 well, it would have to be a decent sized hole, and then it could cause an imballence, and change the jetting. it's likely another issue, lke plugged jetting, fouled plug/no spark... Quote
Need For Speed Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 a hole in the exhaust could lean out that cylinder.....depending on how big the hole is. Quote
NickisGod Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) a hole in the exhaust could lean out that cylinder.....depending on how big the hole is. bingo.... josh claims it ran good for the first few hours after rebuild. idk if josh properly broke in his engine or what gas ratio he was using but the hole in the exhaust pipe was leaking oil on his case. also his pipe is bent? its the strangest thing, needless to say all these problems exist on right side of the bike.
