Hey I'm just trying to figure out exactly what I can get rid of on my frame before I take it to be powder coated. so far I eliminated the mounts for the front brake lines(no longer needed for the braided) but that's all I have come up with so far. I will be grabbing a set of AC nerfs for it but I'm not sure what they mount to. If there is anything you can think of that is not needed or maybe have some pics PLEASE post them up.

Thanks

when i was cleaning up my frame i removed the stock exhaust spring tabs on the bottom frame rails (under the headers) the headlight mounts, stock heel gaurd mounts, the small box type tabs that the front fender supports attach to and the tors unit mounting tab.

the ac nerfs attach to the upper motor mounts so don't worry about them

can I ditch the stock heel guard mounts if I use the AC blackline nerfs?

There is a few things you can do to your frame to make it look clean. What i did before it went to PC was remove all the tabs you see in red. I went over some of the welds to smooth them out some. Be careful not to go over them too much because you can fuck up the structural integrity of the weld. Hope this helps bro

give Tim at Stellar Performance a call. He makes a real nice sub frame that can be welded on or bolted on with the exception of welding on 4 tabs. I think he charges around $300 for one in bare metal. Give him a shout.

Hey drew, I spoke to tim, and the price isn't too bad.... Only thing that's keeping me from getting a sub frame from him is that I want a square rear not the pointy 1 that he makes...

I really like the 1 that's on buddys bike on the previous posts... What is that 1?

yeah you can ditch them, the ac propegs only attach to the footpeg holes and the front upper motor mounts
