locogato11283
what picture? are you talking about the kick start assembly or the idler gear? the idler gear has a bushing and clip that should be replaced when the idler gear starts to wobble. the kick start assembly and the idler gear are two totally separate parts. oh and welcome to the HQ

locogato11283
well its pretty easy to get to the kick start assembly. 1. drain coolant by taking off the hose on the front of the clutch cover. 2. drain oil by taking out the drain plug on the bottom of the motor. 3. take off the kick starter. 4. take out the clutch cover bolts. 5. pull off clutch cover. (you may or may not have to take off the brake lever to get it off) once you have the cover off, the kick start assembly just pulls right out. there will be a spring hooked around a little knob inside the case, but you dont have to un-bolt anything to get the assembly out. once you get it out you can replace that clip. then reassemble.
