camatv Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 they are a very old pipe the flange gives them away its the old old old simple flange. the newer fmf flange is one of the best i have ever seen. if you could get a set of the newer o-ringed nice transistion flanges fromfmf you might see a improvement in the pipe.. i'd love to have an fmf ID chart for pipes. there were a lot of different pipe styles and makes. PT's SUCK and now you know why.. Quote
runflat Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 i just sold a set of these with cut down and polished powercore silencers to vintage smoke...gave him a good deal, i hope he likes them as much as you seemed to. Quote

reggiexp Posted April 9, 2025 Report Posted April 9, 2025 I know its a old topic but i got the same pipes. So are they fatty ? Or some low mid pipes? Cause from stock. I didn't gain any top end still about 125kmh but Power delivery is smoother less aggressive vs stock pipes but it does revs way higher. Like stock didn't go very high. But the fmf do go higher but no top speed gain. Also it doesn't like slow drive now compared to stock i can bogg it along (i got 270 main and 27.5 pilot) Also i got some wierd power core 2 silencers with i also... I had some already and they are same but not same.. The ones that came with thr header have shorter pipes. And i couldn't fit them. Wait how do i add picture? Quote
reggiexp Posted April 9, 2025 Report Posted April 9, 2025 Look at my 2 set of fmf silencers... One pair is shorter... I had to use the longer ones. Even doh the shorter ones came with the fmf headers they didn't fit to short... So am confused they also have different curve as you can see in the picture... Quote
