Hi guys, just picked up a 2006 Banshee, its the first bike I've owned. Only been out on it once so far and cant wait until next weekend to take it for another spin.

One thing I have noticed from looking at many pictures is that the heel guards have been removed as well as the black plastic parts. I have some aftermarket nerf bars but they attach to the front of the foot peg only.

Im just a but worried about sliding off the back of the peg and getting caught up in the rear wheel! What would you advise. I could go to the Yamaha dealership and replace the missing original parts or get myself a new set of nerf bars that reach infront and behind the foot peg with some kind of kick up behind the heel.

Looking for your advice and maybe a couple of links to some aftermarket parts that would do the job.

Thanks!!

IMS used to make some nice heel guards but i believe they stopped producing them, but you could get some stock ones and put them on, look on ebay you can get them a lot cheaper than what a dealer will charge you

I quite like the look of the IMS heel gaurds but they seem to be pretty hard to find for the banshee. There is one set on ebay but its for US only and i am an Dubai. Has anyone tried to fit the IMS gaurds designed for a different bike such as the Raptor with a little bit of modification? or are they completely different.
