WantABanshee
Is there a special puller to pull the crank outer bearings off the crankshaft? How do you then press them on? Also what is the name of that guy that made the How to CD on here? Thanks
00tbanshee
not 100% sure what the puller is called but here is a link to a pic.its the one on the left upper corner.thats what i used.to put the bearing back on, freeze the crank for about a hr and pop the bearing in the toaster oven to heat it up.it will just tap on then. http://www.grainger.com/1/1/76954-proto-4235b-master-puller-set-25-jaws.html

Never tried the toaster oven to heat the bearing, sounds like a decent idea. I just always used a torch and a thick plate of metal and heated the plate with the bearing laying on the plate. AKheathen
x2..........never used a toaster before, but i've heard of using an oven..........heat guns work just fine. they will get it hotter than a toaster, and you don't risk burning it. most cases, when you get it hot enough, it will fall right on the shaft, which you don't have to freeze.
