I have no spark, so I took the coil off and tested it. I also had an extra set of caps laying around and I dont know which is bad and which is good. One cap tests nothing at all, one tests around 131.1 k, one test 21-32 M, and one test 14-15.6 M. I dont know what the M and K stand for it is a digital ohm tester and thats what it says. The numbers jump all over the place. I dont know which to scrap and what to keep. Someone help please.

Those numbers are fine. Did you ohm the harness and stator?

no, they are not.........they are 5kohm(5,000) resistors that can read around 15k ohm. the one that reads nothing is shot, and you need to get good connection so it doesn't jump around. make sure you have a good battery in the meter, too

I ordered some new plugs. so I should get between 5000 to 15000 and it should not move around at all. I had a good connection and a good tester with new batteries. The tester also zero'ed out.
