bluebanshee1998 Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 i just put pro circuit exhaust on and rode my banshee and the pipes started to blue after riding it for about 30 min. the shee had fmf sst on it and i left those jets in there, it seems a little sluggish on the bottom end but as soon as the power band kicks in its flying but it also seems like the power band is up alot higher than before could any one give me pointers thanks Quote
98_shee Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 We need a list of your mods, elevation, current jetting. Just guessing i would say around 300-310 main, 27.5 pilot. Quote

98_shee Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I live in north west AR, and had a bike with similar mods and ended up at 300/27.5. You should pull your carbs off and see what size is in them. Just keep an eye on your plugs you may want to start at 310 or 320 and work down from there. Quote
AKheathen Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 i would say to go up 3-4 sizes from your current jetting, but, since you were jetted by a dealer, start with 340 mains, if you are below 2000ft, and richen your needle. pro circuits can be fuel hungry, and sometimes not.... Quote
Banshee Roost Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Dude just take the time order 300-340 mains and defenitly some 27.5 pilots. Im at 320 main jet 27.5 pilot jet and needle clip on 3rd position air srew adjusted for throttle response! Good pipe choice BTW. Quote

NastyQuickie Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 300 mains should be fine. I run the same pipes and similar mods, your elevation in Star City AR is 272ft not to much different from where I live . I run 290's on mine and it works fine. Also the pilots 25 or 27.5 should work, you may not even need to change if thats what the bike came with, most stock banshee's come equiped with either one. To change out your mains just remove the 4 bolts on the bottom of the carbs and change the hex brass jet thats the main jet easy to do, hope this helps. Quote

Banshee Roost Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 thanks i will give that a try. I would at least go 310 on the mains! Mine could even use a 330 main. Quote
banshee#44 Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 im running 290 mains 27.5 pilots at sea level i also have k&n pods Quote
AKheathen Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 and i run 360-330, depending on temp/elevation, etc.... i don't know exactly what combination, but i've seen about 1/3 of people having to jet high for the pro-circuits, including myself, so that's why i suggest starting 340 for the setup/conditions Quote
