what do you guys use to take off little

what do you guys ue to take off little rust spots on your exhaust?? Does CLR really work and will it mess up your chrome?? All help greatly appreiciated!!!

if the sports are small enough i would use a fine steel wool.

 

or if its just surface rust, theres a product called blue job out there. its mainly used to take blueing off the head pipes but takes surface rust off too without damaging the chrome.

WD40 and 0000 steel wool. It does take a while though. Keep it lubed.

my friend read on here one day he was looking a guy used aluminum foil and coke zero, and he tried it the other day. and said it did pretty good.

I use finishing steel wool which u can get at Home Depot for like $3.00 for 10 or 20 pieces and make sure u keep the pipes lubed up while wiping it down i just use water and never had any problems or scratchs and it takes the surface rust rite out!!!

 

PS. make sure it is finishing wool or highest grit of steel wool otherwise u will leave squirl marks!!!

Fresh Cola-Cola will lift the rust off chrome. Say what you want but it works. Or do WD-40 and some Very fine steel wool.

I'd use Pepsi...I hate to waste Coke.

WD40 and a REAL fine steel wool as said, and finish it up with NeverDull.

LOTS and LOTS of elbow grease too...it takes time.
