  1. hey man i just had the same problem. i got my juggs diamond honed. its just a small cleanup. i gave my juggs to John at Sandtoyz Unlimited and he shipped them to Arizona to get worked on. i think all in all it was around $400 for the diamond hone, shipping, and pistons.

  3. what do you guys ue to take off little rust spots on your exhaust?? Does CLR really work and will it mess up your chrome?? All help greatly appreiciated!!!
  4. my timing is at +4. an wow i didnt know ican go that high on the timing.. thanks everyone for all the info... and jonny yes your bike was running crisp... i got a brand new topend and i was there to jet the bike... but it kinda ran like crap.. and i lost a pod out there so i got to tear down the topend and make sure everything looks good.. hopefully its all good..
  5. yes i was at pismo...i went sunday.. i was there only for the day... what bike were you running?? oh and my compresion if i could remember was around 165..
  6. i got a 421 cheetah cub with 22cc domes in it.. i run c12 racing fuel in it, not a 50/50 mix.. i was wondering if the compresion would change if i put 21cc domes in..? and if i would get more power..?

  8. ok starting fresh again on my jetting. I would like to know a good starting point for my jetting. The mods I got are a 421 cheetah cub with cool head and 22cc domes. I also have 35mm pwk with 6inch pods and pre filters. I have T5 pipes and stoke reeds. I got no more money left for some vf3 but I wish I did. I currently have it running on C12 VP race fuel. Oh and +4 timing. Thats all. So if someone can help me out with a good starting point on a rich side of jetting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Oh almost forgot I ride at sea level.
  9. sorry about that messed up quest. ok here it is. i have a 421 cheetah cub with coolhead and 22cc domes. 35 pwk and 6inch pods. i want to know if anyone else is running 22cc domes. and what type of fuel mixture like 50/50 on 110 and 92 octane. also another question. what is a good rich start on my jetting for sea level.

  12. right now my plugs are coming out dry and alittle on the grey side. and thats with my cel needle one down from the middle, mains at 170, and pilots at 58.
  13. well i got a 421 cheetah cub with 35mm pwk's, p/d cool head with 22cc domes, T5's, stock reeds, +4 timing, and 115 long rod.my jetting is at 170 mains and 58 pilots with air screw 1 an 1/2 turns out. at sea level. i ran my bike in pismo this weekend and blew my right piston. my nickelsill looked good and had NO nail catchers. the only thing wrong was a thin film of aluminum left behind by the piston. at the time i was running the bike on 87 pump fuel. i know it was a DUMB ASS IDEA!!! but i changed both pistons out there. then i used a 50 50 mix of 87 and C12 race fuel. now it backfires in first gear when i punch it.and the rest of the gears have power but its not all there. im still running lean and have tried bumping up on the mains but its not making a difference. i need help. and if you have a similar set up can you tell me what jetting your running and your elevation. and what you think of my gas mixture. all advice will be greatly APPRECIATED! THANKS
  14. im running a stock tranny with no override and running 8 paddle haulers. i only ride in sand. but i dune and race half and half.
  15. hey guy i was just wondering if having a 14t sprocket in front and 42t sprocket in the rear make my motor work hard. i was thinking of going back to 13t and 42t.
  16. well my sig has pics of my new motor.. i rebuilt the whole motor myself... but still trying to work all the little kinks out.. i bought all of my parts from sandtoyz unlimited.. but the parts i want to sell is from my old steup witch is a stock crank, head, jugs @65.5mm., and stock carbs.. also thanks for all the info on shipping and selling items...

  18. ok, i need help with my jetting. i got a 421 cheetah cub with coolhead and 22 domes.and 38mm mic crarbs. going to run 91 octane. would like to know what my main,pilot,and cel should be at. oh and im at sea level.

  21. hey you guys i was just wondering if anyone has tried or knows if octane booster works?? and would this hurt my motor in any way if i use it.?? its just cuz racing fuel is just to much $$$!! :shoothead: now a days....

  23. i got a little question.. if i take out the paking and spark arrester from the silencer would i lose or gain any power..? would it effect the way my motor runs? by the way im running a 421 cheetah cub, and awaiting for 38mm carbs.. and thanks for all replys!!! here are some pics of wat im talking about..
  24. i just bought a 421 cub with 4mil crank 5mm long rod, and cool head. got 22 domes, stock carbs, and stock reeds. running t5's. in the carbs i got 400 mains and 30 piolt. with needle set in the middle. not running right.. NEED HELP PLEASE!!! a stock banshee can spank me up olds. hill in glamis.. and after riding it for ten min it losses power and overheats...
