JasonsBanshee Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I'm a little confused on what's "okay" when it comes to leak down testing. I know it's 6 PSI for 6 minutes. Does that mean it has to hold steady at 6psi for 6 minutes or is it okay to drop 1 psi per minute? I've been working on mine and at first the psi dropped instantly. (I forgot to tighten the intake bolts all the way up, lol.) so I tightened them up, ran it again and it still leaked a little in the seam of my wonderful boss intake. I split the intake, put some case sealer on the two halves and put it back together. Now I'm dropping 1 psi in 6 minutes and I can not find a leak anywhere. After the 6 minutes I'm reading 5psi. Is that okay? Quote
