sheesFast89 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I just bought my 89 shee in the spring and have been riding it since in about 70-90 degree weather. It seemed to be sluggish and bog until mid range and you had to wind her out pretty good to keep her in the power range. It ran great outside of the lower end. I hadn't rode it in a week and just recently the weather has been cooling off here. I rode it today and it was about 52 degrees out and the lower end power seemed to be greatly improved. Does this mean it was jetted to rich and now that the cooler weather has leaned it out a little it is running better? Is this enough of a temperature drop to even make a difference? The only mods I have are Pro Circuit platinums, 13T/42T sprockets, and I don't know what my jetting is. I am 800 ft. above sea level. Also how much of a temperature drop do I need to worry about leaning her out too much? Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 If its running better in the cooler weather, you were to rich. Quote
coronakidd Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 yes i agree you could change your poilt jet and make it run better because i dought its leaned out enough to completely tune it in by temperature change Quote
