bigdodge Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 I just want to know is there a kit to convert a kick start to electric start? 1987 350 Banshee, stock as far as I know. I bought myshee 3 years ago and loved riding it up until a year ago I became disabled. I still want to ride it but I can't kick start it, in my opinion there is no substitute for my banshee. Any help would be appreciated. Bigdodge Quote

dco3100 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Well they're is the electric starter that starts the bike via the flywheel. Iv'e seen it used on a YFZ 450 but Robb from RDZ told me it was available for the banshee. Its a hand tool that is powered by a battery. Hope this helps, give him a call 1-517-521-3717 Quote

dajogejr Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Can't keep a determined rider down. Good for you. A lot of drag race guys use a remote type starter for the bike for the big motors that would damn near break your leg off to kick over. I'm sure this technology could be adapted to a smaller, stock motor. But...as I'm sure you've thought about, you need something on board. If you stall, wreck...or flat out just want to take a break...obviously this isn't practical. There has to be something...I'll keep me eyes peeled for ya. Quote
