06specialedition Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I've heard of people cutting down there spring in there carbs for a softer throttle. Is this a good idea or should I just man up and ride it? And yes TORS are removed. Quote

grizzly700 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 i would cut small increments off at a time till you are satisfied. and i think that the throttle return spring is a good idea too. idk how much diff it will make but its worth a try. or you could go twist throttle like me. lol Quote
06specialedition Posted September 15, 2009 Author Report Posted September 15, 2009 I'm not a huge twist throttle fan, but maybe I'll try the return spring. So if I take that completely out then how will my throttle lever come back? Sorry Im still learning about the throttle stuff on these bikes. Quote

Just one less spring your thumb has to compete with. Quote
