Springs

Recommended Posts

I've heard of people cutting down there spring in there carbs for a softer throttle. Is this a good idea or should I just man up and ride it?

And yes TORS are removed.

yes i have this done to my bike, and it helps alot with the fatigue part of it... jsut dont cut any more than 1/4 off the spring or ur bike will continue to rev for a few seconds longer once u release throttle lol

I'm not a huge twist throttle fan, but maybe I'll try the return spring. So if I take that completely out then how will my throttle lever come back?

Sorry Im still learning about the throttle stuff on these bikes.

It should work jus fine. Just one less spring your thumb has to compete with.
