k i want to paint my frame. no i dont want to powercoat it, i did it to my 660 and once it started chippin it was all over. i just neeed to know what kind of primer if any are recomened and paint to use. and how many coats to use. il prob start primering it tomrrow. i was thinkin lime green or bright orange. for the final color. on top of a tad bit of clear.

idc what you say, but powder coat is the best. the reason pc chips is because you failed to properly clean the surface before coating or if after the frame is sand blasted the bare metal oxidized because it sat too long. you get what you pay for, pc is used on industrial equipment i wonder why :whistling:

there are some high quality paints out there that would hold up. it has to be something with a very hard finish. pc is the best way but if your gonna paint it go with high quality stuff

thanks t shee. i bought some lime green ppg epoxy paint, the same shit i put on airplanes.. seems pretty strong. we will see, i got it all etchprimered and now just need to green it, and clear it
