robrocks71 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 First off hello. My name is Robert and I am new to the forum! I just picked up my first Banshee. It's a 1995 bone stock one. The problem is when it is idling it blows unburned fuel out of the left side muffler. What causes this? When I rap it out it cleans up and runs great. It seems to be just at idle. Is this a stuck float? or somthing worse? Any help is greatly appreciated. Rob. Quote

Then switch the carbs, if they are stock you will have to do something with the choke tube in between them. Just for testing i would just plug the holes. That should help you isolate the problem. portingjunky Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 clean the carb you are having problems with. clean boath jets. shoot carb cleaner threw all holes and pull air mixture screw out and clean it. check how many turns the air screw is in on the other carb and make sure you put other carb air screw back in with the same amount of turns. also make sure after you put the bad carb back together check and make sure the slides are at the same height.
