Weird 1st gear clicking sound?

Hey all, I have a banshee that while riding in 1st gear sometimes it will make some kind of clicking sound like if any of you know, that when on a nitrous bottle for cars when you turn it on it makes some weird sound... It sounds like that. I thought it was because my chain was too loose, but im not sure. Can anyone help me?

is everything operating properly? How loud is the noise?

I had the same noise but only second gear. When I took it apart the idler gear for the kick starter had come apart the washer and clip that holds it on was floating around inside the clutch cover. Why only second gear who knows. Fixed it and the noise went away. So pull the clutch cover and check it out.
