MacRacer1 Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 I need to know because my friend is getting a yfz 450 with yoshis and i wanna know if i can beat him with my banshee with v force reeds and t5s Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 there are entirely too many factors to answer this question. tires, gearing, riding surface, swingarm length, rider ability, etc.. if youre on the street, the banshee will prolly take it. on dirt, id bet on the 450. Quote
MacRacer1 Posted August 4, 2009 Author Report Posted August 4, 2009 racing up competition hill both have full sand paddles both stock gearing Quote
yamahaman244 Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 racing up competition hill both have full sand paddles both stock gearing proby be close but i would go with the banshee Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 same tires? if rider weight and ability are equal, id say itll come down to who gets off the line better and gets the better shifts. Quote

lokisbuddy Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Well here is me racing a trx450r that has a hot cam, factory portwork (whatever that is) K&N box filter, fmf factory 4.1 exhaust system, and +4 timing. My banshee has Pro Circuit pipes and silencers, Pod filters with outerwears, Boyesen Rad valves, carbon fiber reeds, modified shift star and runs on a mix of 1:3 110/97 octane mixed 40:1 with amsoil dominator. He pulled off the line every time but I took him in the top end 60% of the time. Also when I hit one of the whoops I accidentally shifted into 4th and lost. (you can hear it boggin lol) Quote

banshee#44 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 well two strokes make twice the displacement per cc so if you freind thinks his yfz is so fast tell him to race a 450 2 stroke against his 4 lol Quote
