A few weeks ago I bought a 1987 banshee... the price was right and from what i could tell it ran great for its age.

Ive ridden it a few times now and i must say I am amazed at how it performs and how I have not had any major problems.

I do want to do a few things to it.. the air filter on it is garbage and i want to do an outerwears airbox lid and a K&N with outerwears pre-filter over it (just to be safe).

Everything is bone stock except for some ancient DG Type-II silencers on it. Now my question is with the mods i'm doing should i re jet or leave it alone? i have more mods on the way

but this kills two birds with one stone because i NEED a new filter. I appreciate any help.

I'd go for pro flow adapter with a k&n filter with a outerwear run it with no lid on the air box it should rev higher and quicker. rejet if u put on full exhaust.
