Havok248 Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 A few weeks ago I bought a 1987 banshee... the price was right and from what i could tell it ran great for its age. Ive ridden it a few times now and i must say I am amazed at how it performs and how I have not had any major problems. I do want to do a few things to it.. the air filter on it is garbage and i want to do an outerwears airbox lid and a K&N with outerwears pre-filter over it (just to be safe). Everything is bone stock except for some ancient DG Type-II silencers on it. Now my question is with the mods i'm doing should i re jet or leave it alone? i have more mods on the way but this kills two birds with one stone because i NEED a new filter. I appreciate any help. Quote
No Limit Powersports Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 Just do what the motor asks you to do. As with any mods do a plug check and see where you are. Quote
06specialedition Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 What kind of riding you doing? I'd atleast ditch the lid and re-jet. Quote
