J-Madd
How does it run? Does it start easily (with choke)? Sounds small, but if it ain't broke.......
Natemills8
Its a stock stroke stock bore ride ported motor my buddys 4mil cub with 35.5s on it has a 48 jet in it he said I might need to go smaller but it will start up with out the choke the second or third kick
Sammy
If it starts easily cold without the choke, then your pilot is to rich. Go down a size on the pilot, retune your mixture screws and try that.
Natemills8
So go down a size is it a 34 or a 30? I can turn the powerjets off & the air screws out 3 turns & it will run & not run out of fuel goin down the track
dajogejr
Your pilots have nothing to do with the bike's throttle being wide open. Your air screws and pilots control off idle to just under 1/4 throttle. If your bike doesn't have triple exhaust ports, good chance you don't need a powerjet, even on alky. Air Strikers jet a little different than conventional PWKs.
Natemills8
How can you tell the differnce between a airstriker and a regular PWK.. it dont have any problem with the throttle I just need to know what size piolet jet I need its a 35 right now me and my buddy think I should put a 30 in it and see how it does its to rich right now Im guessing if I can start it on fog gas the 2nd kick Edited July 25, 2009 by Natemills8
