Doddy Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I just bought some VF2 reeds and was wondering what I should change my jetting to if at all. I'm currently running a 310 main, 25 pilot, w/ the needle on the 3rd clip, and the air screw out 1/2 turn Mods: FMF Fattys w/ Power Core II K&N Uni-filter w/ Proflow adapter and lid removed TORS eliminator Elevation - Sea Level Temp - 70-90 Now I know that 310 seems pretty high for the main jet, but it runs great right now. Should I even change it at all? Thanks for any help. Quote
GrMeyer Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 are you coming from stock reeds? And if not I would prob just go up one jet and then see how it runs. If it runs bad then go down a jet and then if it runs better then you know your in the ball park Quote
rmkboxer Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 (edited) I would not change your jetting, it shoud not change, check your plugs to be sure Edited July 17, 2009 by rmkboxer Quote
pr0blumz Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 You probably will have to go down a couple of sizes. 310 sounds kinda rich. Try somewhere around 280 and do a plug chop. Quote
official_style Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 i just put vf3s on this past weekend, and im running rich now. i was running 310s, 3rd clip 27.5 pilots. i have read in a few posts on here that VF reeds cause it to run richer. Quote
