trx450r rear shock on banshee

has anybody tried to put a shock from a trx450r onto a banshee, because my friend has one and he said i could have it if it would work.

Have you even looked at the diff from a banshee rear to a 450r's rear?

 

Go look and you will see 3 reasons it will not work.

 

1. Too long

 

2. The bottom mount on the 450 shock has a fork mount and the shee does not!

 

3. The rez on the 450 rear shock is sideways and will hit the shee frame as it compresses.

nope didnt check, kinda hard to if he lives out of state, so thats why i just thought i would ask and see if anybody had done this
