BANSH-alena-jol-EE
hello, im going to re do the top end...do i have to do anything to the bottom end? whats necessary to be done, besides like top end gaskets... I have asked about redoing the top end on this before and some ppl said to get a seal kit?/??? is this a bottom end seal kit, that they meant to get? or can i just forget about the bottom end and just put in new pistons, rings, gaskets???? thanks

BANSH-alena-jol-EE
i dont no the answer to your qestion but im getting ready to do mine to, is your banshee bogging or anything or do u just want to do it? she is very weak low rpm, some bogging, and compression is 85 and 83, oh and she is a bitch to start when shes cold now, literally 25-50 kicks to start her, if she will at all, but once shes warmed up she will start first kick? shes a weird one ahha
bigboysmith
Yea that sounds like mine , its hard to start and it will stall sometimes, also it will bogg at low rpm when i try to like race or something, so i think i have the same problem as you. bassmaster345
Do a leakdown check on it before tearing it down and make sure your crank seals are good. If there is no leaks just get a full top end gasket set off ebay like this one- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...3A1%7C72%3A1171
